Every season has its staple looks or clichés. Oversized sweaters, boots, and burgundy has been the song that fall has played over and over for the past few years. Although that isn’t going to change, I am loving some of the 2017 fashion trends that are showing up on the runways. Several of the new styles are a game changer for fall fashion. Is white actually okay to wear after Labor Day? Continue reading to find out!
I am sure you have heard the phrase, “Just because it is a trend, doesn’t mean you should wear it.” Although that holds some truth, I think this season has some pretty exciting styles that are a must rock for all of you fashionistas. Today I am sharing 6 trends that are prancing about all the runways as well as making their way into retail stores. But I encourage you to do some research yourself and see what other trends you might feel like experimenting with this fall and winter. Here are my favorite styles that are trending this season!
Burgundy has always been a trending color for fall. But this season, we are seeing bright red. If you are too nervous to take the plunge into red clothing, sport the shade on your lips or in your accessories.
This trend slowly started sneaking in last Winter, but it has finally arrived in full swing! Velvet booties are having a moment, and I have to say I am not mad at it! But boots are not the only way to wear the style, try it in a dress or jacket as well.
Don’t pack away those floral dresses just yet! We are seeing tons of print this season. Continue to wear dark or muted hued floral prints during the upcoming cold weather.
This is no surprise. Elaborate sleeves have been all the rage this year, and it continues into the fall and winter mothers. Take your pick between ruffled, pleated, or belled sleeves. The more decorated, the better!
5.Cutouts and One Shoulder
Plunging neck lines, off the shoulders, or opened backs are all over the runways. Basically if it has a hole in it, you are good! I am loving the style in a cut out neckline in an oversized sweater.
6.White Past Labor Day
I think this has to be the most exciting trend. Say goodbye to the rule, “No white past Labor Day!” There is no rhyme or reason. Wear it in your sweaters, dresses, shoes, or even bags. White is here to stay all year long!
Which trend are you most excited about? Are there any that you just can’t bring yourself to sport? Comment below! Thanks for reading today’s post.
